FOUNDATIONS

The T-Living foundations are superficial type: formed by HE120A steel beams incorporated in a 20cm concrete.

For a better and easier assembly of the structure, there are diagonals made ​​from standard profiles like L40x40x4mm: the joints to the HE120A wings are made ​​with bolts.

The superstructure attacks are welded on the HE120A elements, made with section bar with 110x110mm section, 5 mm thickness and 400mm height.

EXTERNAL WALLS

The house has prefabricated walls with steel structure, assembled in a factory and then transported to the building site where they are assembled on the foundation slab and connected via the “joints”. Every single wall, just entered on the toes, is freestanding and then the assembly does not require temporary structures.

Total thickness is 210-230mm tot, its thermal transmittance is 0.214 W / mqK and satisfies the periodic transmittance and phase shift that compensate the lack of mass.

INTERNAL WALLS

The interior walls consist mainly of two types: one longitudinal wall of the internal module and all other internal dividers that are more or less thick only for the passage of the technological system.

The external covering sheet is necessary to confer rigidity to the central module; furthermore a structural against the wind part is needed to protect the central module during the transport and lastly the corrugated sheet is designed as attachment for any shelving.

The rock wool has the benefit of ensuring a sound insulation between the rooms (not required by law, but necessary for normal living of the environments), while the inner panel will be different between the bathrooms and the hallway .

The other interior walls are all made with a double panel, at the sides, with aluminum and resin or only resin, depending on the environment in which it is situated, and an inner 30-40mm rock wool panel always for sound insulation.

ROOF

The sandwich panel cover guarantees the perfect watertightness minimizing also all the maintenance procedures and ensuring the perfect operation of the building during of its whole life. The different layers of insulation allow the cover to reach the value of transmittance of 0.128 W / mqK without thermal bridges. Futhermore is guaranteed a thermal lag of more than 20h which allows a perfect comfort even in summer.

WINDOWS

The windows are made of PVC with an aluminum core. The finished frame section is 77x70mm thermal break.

Must be provided no condensation gaskets / barriers for ensuring the perfect connection between the window frame, the subframe and the blind package of the facade perimeter to the same window frame, achieving the perfect air, water and acoustic system tightness.

About the glass, we’ll have a double laminated low-emissivity glass (33.1/16/33.1 Be Argon). Overall all the fixtures will have a Uw value less than 1.20 W / mqK with a proper noise reduction according to the area in which they will be installed.

INTERIORS

The interior floors are of two types: laminated flooring for bedrooms and living areas and PVC flooring for bathrooms. Both have an excellent quality and a guarantee of 25years, are mounted without the use of chemical adhesives, but floating over a appropriate mattress. The floor panels are 30x60cm or 60x60cm squares for facilitating the installation and the stability of the same floor.

The bedrooms and bathrooms doors are made in wooden hollow-core panels with a smooth laminate, are all swing doors except the technical room door which is a four sliding door with double track to make independent the four door leaves. They are made in laminate without crossbars.

The wood ceiling, formed by 60 × 60 MDF squares, is installed only in the central module. The supporting structure is not a classical structure hanging from the ceiling, but it is only peripherally attached and then is supporting and self-supporting. Therefore the profiles will be more consistent and will need a main and a secondary truss.

TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEM

DAIKIN

The present system is formed by a heat pump with an external unit of exchange. The external heat pump exchanges heat with the external environment and the liquid circulation, while the internal one uses the liquid circulation to produce hot or cold air that enters in the various rooms.

The whole system is mounted inside the central module and then in the factory, the inner unit is positioned above the ceiling of the secondary bathroom, while the outdoor unit will be positioned outside on the perimeter wall of the module in direct communication with the technical room. During of the installation of the central module and once finished the housing unit, it will need to check the pressure of the fluid and do the first starting.

The generator is an heat pump that produces hot or cold air. The internal element is canalized and the conditioned air flow is split and distributed in various rooms through flexible aluminum pipes.
